亚利桑那大学的 Adrienne J. Gauthier 来做了个有趣的报告:Astronomy in Second Life。她介绍了他们在 Second Life 进行的一些天文学教育及宣传项目,然后以她的 avatar 带领我们参观了一些 Second Life 里以天文为主题的地点。

她说,把第二人生作为教育与宣传平台,潜力不小,有许多资源有待于移植。特别需要增强的是交互性。现在第二人生上的天文内容多数还只是海报的形式,要真正利用第二人生的优势,更多的交互性必不可少。
这个这个,非常之火星了。不过还是得提一提,万一有人不知道呢。
webcast.berkeley,加州伯克利大学把许多教学课程以及学术报告之类,以音频或者视频的形式放到了网上,可订阅、下栽。
他们还把一部分内容上传到了 Google Video 和 Youtube 上。我又把一部分贴到了这里,比如:SIMS 141 – 搜索引擎,Physics 10 – Physics for Future Presidents,Chemistry 3B,等等。
现在网上的开放教育材料非常多,唯一的隔阂是语言了。不知道有没有中文的类似网络课程。或者有人能把它们翻译成中文也好。
