Stephen Hsu，UNIVERSITY OF OREGON 的理论物理副教授很有意思，还记得他写的那篇 Message in the Sky 么？
除了理论物理教授的身份，他还创业，他创立了SafeWeb，2003年卖给了 Symantec。最近，他在 blog 上贴出了个演讲稿： Startups for physicists（小心，3M 大）。
念书念到博士，不一定非要呆在学术圈内的，自己创业也是一条很好的出路，特别是现在博士多，职位少。如果能像他那样，白天做教授，晚上打理自己的公司，那是最佳了。

PhysicsWeb上一篇文章：Blogs add a new dimension to physics，简略评述了一下物理学圈里 blog 这个“新鲜事物”。你可以看到一些物理blog的链接（很多都在我们的链接列表里）。
另外，这里有个物理blog聚合网站：Mixed States，如果你在国内，你可以通过它来阅读存放于 blogspot 的blog。
这里有篇文章叫百年物理大事记，可能来自央视国际。说是百年，但只是1901年到1990年，上世纪后十年大概还离去不远，不大好评说吧。里面中国的内容不成比例的多。

New Scientist 报道有研究结果说禽流感的基因来源于中国东南部。
The H5N1 flu virus has been circulating continuously in poultry in south-eastern China for a decade, scientists have found. A massive genetic analysis shows the virus has mainly been spread by poultry, but also that wild birds carried it from southeast China to Turkey.
我比较相信。希望中国政府能勇于承认，采取有效措施。
