学科趋势

Google 发布个新玩艺儿 Google Trends，大家都在玩。试了不少关键词，比如格志啊桑林志啊等等，但都搜索量太小不能生成图表。只好比较一下物理、数学、生物、医学、和计算机的搜索量，如下图：
物理 
数学 
生物 
医学 
计算机
搜索数学和计算机的远多于其它学科啊。：）整体都有下降的趋势，很奇怪，觉得是 Google 的问题。
这个是 String Theory 的趋势图，做理论物理的朋友能解释下2004年612月发生了什么么？嗬嗬

Not reliable. Where the hell is Beijing in the City list? I suppose Tsinghua and PKU are also doing Physics Math CS BioMed, right? :) However, it's not a surprise to see Hefei tops since USTC is overall No.1 in sciences in China :-)
Glad to see Austin is amoung top4 (top2 in the states) for "string theory". Not bad, isn't it? :)

In June 2004, the first transit of Venus since 1882 occured and a 1.3 kg chondrite type meteorite struck a house in Ellerslie, New Zealand causing serious damage. People (especially Indians) are afraid of the end of the world so they turned to String Theory fo the last hope. :)

查stem
查stem cell。2004年的第一个峰我能认出来，那应该是黄禹锡公布他的第一个克隆干细胞的“成果”。但是最高峰居然是加州投票支持干细胞研究，Google趋势可能比较美国中心主义？可城市、区域和语言都是韩国排第一。

2004年12月，这么多人搜索string theory，结果大自然不乐意乐，来了个tsunami 海啸警告一下。

univer，看来韩国关注 stem cell 已经很久了，总量上超过美国。

韩国人关注干细胞还不是被黄禹锡忽悠起来的嘛。
