大英百科全书推出一个 Britannica Webshare 的计划，只要你是个网络出版者 web publisher，就有机会获得免费网络订阅。网络出版者 web publisher 定义为：

“people who publish with some regularity on the Internet, be they bloggers, webmasters, or writers. ”

比较宽泛。他们同时声明有权拒绝：

We reserve the right to deny participation to anyone who in our judgment doesn’t qualify.

不止你自己可以免费阅读，一旦成功，你可以在网站上链百科全书的全文，访客点进去可以阅读这篇文章，但不能阅读别的内容。
